About Driven From Within: “My name is Phil Courchesne and I was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario Canada. I have a love and appreciation for all types of music but rapping was all I was ever good at musically (I have a horrible singing voice and cannot play an instrument if my life depended on it, lol!). For that reason I dedicated myself to rapping because it was the only way I was able to express myself with the powerful art of music. I’d like to thank Andrew Sowka and Shawn Sasyniuk for helping me get started by getting my music out into the world. I’d especially like to thank my friends for their support and my parents for giving me a stable life. I thank my mother for her love and kindness and I thank my father for pushing me and giving me a reason to be Driven From Within, I love them with all of my heart and they mean everything to me. I’d also like to thank those who have doubted me, rejected, or hurt me… the lessons that you taught me is something I needed to experience in order to become the man
