He subsequently completed a two-year postgraduate residency in Advanced Dentistry at Northshore Hospital on Long Island.   Dr. Kaminer is a noted author, lecturer, and teacher on topics such as laser dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry, and high-tech dentistry. He maintains a teaching appointment at Peninsula Hospital in Queens, where he trains post graduate residents in advanced pediatric and cosmetic education. He earned the mastership award from the World Clinical Laser Institute and has been featured in New York Newsday, The Orlando Sentinel, and MSN Money for his proficiency in laser dentistry.
