It seems like the holiday season amplifies the hurts and pains that we are walking through in our lives. Most of us find ourselves waiting on something or trying to heal from past wounds and and disappointments. This reality gives us much in common with ancient Israel who was waiting for the promised Messiah. Can we wait while God works? Can we hope again in the promises of God?
