1. What kind of giving moves Jesus’ heart? 2. What can move our hearts to give that way? “They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.” v. 44 What can move us to live this way? “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich” 2 Corinthians 8:9 Romans 8:32 “He who did not spare HIS OWN SON BUT GAVE HIM UP FOR US ALL, how will he not also with him GRACIOUSLY GIVE US EVERYTHING?” Confession: Lord God, eternal and almighty Father: We acknowledge before your holy majesty that we are poor sinners, conceived and born in guilt and in corruption, prone to do evil, unable of our own power to do good. Because of our sin, we endlessly violate your holy commandments. But, O Lord, with heartfelt sorrow we repent and turn away from all our offenses. We condemn ourselves and our evil ways, with true sorrow asking that your grace will relieve our distress
