Sinopsis

It's a birthday special for our next guest as Good John speaks to Aberdeen Hall of Fame inductee Eoin Jess, who turns 50 today. Eoin discusses his life in Barcelona and how they have been coping with the pandemic. We then flip the conversation back to his childhood days and who his heroes were growing up in the 70's and 80's. Onto his career, the first time the wider footballing world became aware of Eoin Jess was when he was given a surprise start in the 1989 Skol League Cup Final at the age of 18. During Eoin's first spell at Pittodrie, he won two Young Player of the Year awards, won Sportscene goal of the season in 1990/91, earned the first of 18 Scotland caps and played a key role in Aberdeen winning the 1995/96 CocaCola League Cup where they beat Dundee 2-0 in the Final.
