3/19/17 - Matthew 5:13-16 - �Jesus tells His disciples that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. This is another encouraging text, but it comes with a couple of warnings. Jesus tells us that if we (using the salt metaphor) are not careful we will loose the flavor or essence of God by becoming diluted by the things that are not of God.  Essentially, Jesus encourages us as "salt and light" while reminding us of our God given mandate to flavor and light up the world we live in, for His Glory and our joy.
