1 John 1:5-2:2 Last week Christ’s heavenly PRIESTLY activity: INTERCESSION This week we consider another of Christ’s heavenly PRIESTLY activities: ADVOCACY 2 Dangers: - Complacency - Hopelessness 2 Warnings: -God is light and we are not - 1.5b that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. - 1.8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. - 1.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
