You will never have an educated faith until you’ve experienced doubt. Doubt makes us ask hard questions and keeps us from being satisfied with easy answers. Doubt drives us to our knees and to the Word. Doubt didn’t push Thomas away from Christ or the other disciples; it moved him to the place where all his doubts would be answered through an encounter with Christ.
