Current events of emptiness but things in life that shouldn't be empty. Empty heart, no purpose; need that purpose of living for Christ. Empty hope, putting trust in the wrong thing. Need to put trust in Christ. Future emptiness, 1 Thess 4:13-18 empty graves after the final resurrection. This is a comfort to us as Christians today. We have a hope that is because of the empty tomb of Jesus!
