The Straight Shootin' View Episode 103 - Should FA Cup Semi Finals be held at Wembley?

Informações:

Sinopsis

Should the FA Cup Semi Finals be played at neutral grounds and only the final be played at Wembley? Our co-host SSLJA discusses the FA Cup, specifically the Semi Finals and whether or not they should be played at Wembley, as opposed to neutral venues. SSLJA looks at issues with semi finals at Wembley such as whether or not the final is as special because the semi finals are held there and dicusses why the FA are so hell bent on having semis played at Wembley, in large part because Wembley stadium is still being paid off. SSLJA also talks about semi finals being played at neutral venues levelling the playing field for sides all around the UK when it comes to travel, especially on weekends where train networks are either decimated or not running at all, bearing in mind the 2022 Liverpool v Man City semi final was played on an Easter Weekend with no train services from the North of England and wasn't rescheduled, meaning many fans weren't able to attend.  For more information about Pitch Talk visit:
