In this encouraging episode, I interview a very special guest - my beautiful, precious sister, Maria Willis. Maria has a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling and is a therapist in Valdosta, Georgia. She has worked for her company for eight years. Maria counsels families, and offers parenting education, substance abuse counseling, domestic violence counseling, and does assessments on clients who are coming into the system. She is employed by a company who works with families who have Child Protective Services involvement. Maria shares how often people who struggle with mental illness/mental health issues feel alone and struggle to reach out for help.
