When we have a memorial, we remember, honor, esteem, value, and show our respect for a person who has died. We can have an event, day, service, or possibly a plaque to remember them by. In partaking of Holy Communion, we are Remembering and Proclaiming Christ Jesus’s death on the cross, and how He Redeemed us from the Curse!
