The 2019 Colorado Rockies season has (mercifully) come to an end, but man the stories certainly haven't. In the first 48 hours after the conclusion to arguably the most disappointing season in franchise history, the Rockies announced an underwhelming extension of their extremely underwhelming TV deal that basically guarantees they'll still have among the fewest televised games in the big leagues, and their owner and general manager held a strange press conference in which they cried poor in reference to adding payroll for 2020, revealed odd details about Nolan Arenado's contract, and basically came across as frighteningly out of touch with external evaluations of the franchise's current state.So with that, we're back!
