February 18th 1952 New England was battered by the most brutal nor’easter in years. Two oil tankers split in half leaving 84 men stranded. Captain Bernie Webber and three other men set out in the storm to rescue as many men as they could in a 36 foot Coast Guard rescue boat. The small crew was able to rescue 32 men. The story of the Bible is really a story of an epic rescue mission with eternal proportions.
