WHAT IS MAN  Hebrews 2:5 What is man that You are mindful of him…  or the son of man that You look compassionately upon him? In this Scripture the word for man is Anthropos which generically includes all humans, not just males, and it is where the word anthropology comes from which is the study of mankind and human societies and their cultural development. God is mindful of Man, humanity, and in fact that word mindful (mnaomai) in the Greek has an emphasis of ‘being a fixture of the mind’.
