Ghettomedz9 — I sat down with Tony Dangler for this upload and he rapped about everything from “home” and his roots in PMB – with rap collective “GUERILLA TACTICS” to his current set up in Jsec as part of Jozi rap collective @revivolution. Whether you know Tony as Fudge the Fugitive or as Tony Dangler - we thought he can give us perspective the politics around being respected as an MC. We spoke about the releases – Tone Static and the Nautica Challenge (there were hints that another Tone Static tape will be dropping soon.) He addressed the rest of the cipher – its role via the internet in the form of bloggers, podcasters, the download and promotion. We wove in themes like maintaining sanity, staying out of trouble and the things needed to be done to maintain focus,in the background of him completing his Masters degree in Philosophy and how that hustle for the PHD fits into his kaleidoscope.
