This past Memorial Day weekend, I attended Dave Chappelle's comedy show in Ohio. It was amazing. In this video, I retold what happened during the event. Additionally, I explained why Chappelle's "offensive" humor on race, actually holds American racism to the fire.

In this new series: "Two Perspectives: Let's Talk"--we discussed *Diversity of Thought* in the Black community, Anti-racism, & the future of race relations in America.

Here's a short story on how critical thinking helped me handle a neighborhood encounter that occurred last week.

I am not promoting the feud between Kwame Brown and his former teammates. But, I found this take on education and critical-thinking very interesting---and parts necessary, especially from a former NBA basketball star.

I'm very excited for this episode, especially with this dynamic group---who are willing to dialogue openly about some controversial topics---more specifically---on Critical Race Theory. Disclaimer: The point of this discussion is not for either position to "win." It's to present a clear picture of why each side is passionate about their stance. My hope is to exemplify why candid, uncomfortable, and perhaps, tense dialogue with the "opposing side"---is the most important step to an authentic start to better race relations for this country. Youtuber Khadija Mbowe is a classically-trained opera singer who discusses the western beauty standard's influences on pop-culture, social media and the black diaspora. In this video, Khadija and Brittany hold a candid conversation about the implications of Colorism. Additionally, they discuss how to combat this issue---divulging ways they've dealt with this color prejudice in their lives.

In this episode, I discuss why Dr. King Jr. is one of the most important minds in American History. He is a timeless voice, and much needed in the discourse regarding our society right now.

In this episode, I am honest----and hardly edited this video for transparency. I know most of you subscribed to my channel to watch content that doesn't cater to sides---(and that's what this video is), I hope you stay subscribed and continue watching. As an independent journalist, (and an American in this country), I felt it necessary to give my candid thoughts about what happened at the U.S. Capitol. The present conversations are frustrating to say the least, and aren't conducive material for a real discussion. The violence that happened, and the violence that continues to happen in this country will swallow US whole, if we don't swallow our own prides, and realize we've been wrong.
