A disappointing performance at home to Brighton sees #THFC drop three valuable points in the race for a top four finish. A lethargic display that ended with zero shots on target and a loss to a last minute goal. We discuss the possible reasons for the loss and wonder whether Kane's trip to the golf in Georgia contributed to his own malaise today. In a week that saw Spurs exit the FA Cup at the hands of Middlesboro and so end our search for silverware for another season, we end with a resounding 5-0 victory at home against struggling Everton. Sam and Tim couldn't join us this week (although Sam popped in to say hi from his car!). We had some technical difficulties during the first ten minutes of this pod but that didn't stop us :). This week the as been one where squad deficiencies have come to the fore. Firstly a Carabao Cup defeat that acted as a wake up call following a run of good results in the league and prompted some honest comments from Antonio Conte. Then an FA Cup tie against Morecambe that should have been easier than it eventually was, and added more fuel to the B team fire and to Tanguy Ndombele in particular.
