Sinopsis

Your host Ken along with co-hosts Sam, Vass, Simon and Tim bring you the north American answer to all things Tottenham Hotspur each week during the EPL season.

Episodios

  • E41 Navel Gazing

    16/05/2021 Duración: 01h03min

The crew are back and this week we start by letting Sam have some licence around discussion topics before delving into the win against Wolves which keeps us in the hunt for a Europa League spot (even though Champions League qualification is mathematically possible). We answer your questions as always and consider the rebuild needs required going forward. We talk Dele, Bale, Kane and whether Gio or Ndombele are likely to ever play together as a tandem. We contemplate how we compare against other teams given the FA cup final that took place yesterday. And we look ahead to the last two games of this arduous season. COYS

  • E40 Balls To The Wall

    09/05/2021 Duración: 01h10min

Another down week after an upward swing last week, the crew are back to discuss the defeat against Leeds United which all but ended the club's slim hopes for Champions League qualification. We analyse the game and take in your questions. We also ponder "what next?" for the club given the fact that the manager search continues. We consider how this will impact on any restructuring of player personnel and we talk about possible restructuring of the decision makers at the club. Bad decisions by the club seem to be a constant in recent weeks and we wonder if the club are actually reading the room and the loss of goodwill and whether ticket prices announced for the Aston Villa game are just another missed opportunity to appease a disgruntled fan base. This and much more on this weeks episode.

  • E39 Bale'd Out

    02/05/2021 Duración: 01h11min

We have a win to discuss this week which has put something of a smile back on our faces. And a Gareth Bale hattrick to boot! We look back on the victory against Sheffield United and discuss whether top four is still a possibility? We find out why Sam was disgusted this week and Tim introduces the five stages of grief. We further discuss club ownership and the return of fan power and we look ahead to what the rest of the season possibly has in store. We discuss potential full time management and what has to change going forward.

  • E38 Grey Cloud

    25/04/2021 Duración: 01h02min

There was a time when Spurs would go to Cup Finals and rarely lose. But hat seems a long time ago. It is now four cup finals without a single goal, never mind a win, for #THFC. We look back on yet another final loss and break down what went wrong. Now that European Super League has departed quicker than it arrived we also look at the fall out from that which on top of the final loss seems to leave a grey cloud hanging over the club at the moment. How do we recover and move forward? Well we discuss that too and contemplate whether there is any hope of a top four finish to salvage something from this season.

  • E37 EMERGENCY POD

    19/04/2021 Duración: 01h13min

Well our last podcast/vodcast seems to have aged quite quickly! What a day today has been? First an announcement about a breakaway European Super League, and then the club announcement that Jose Mourinho has been sacked. Tim and Dan are here with their thoughts along with Elena from Lilywhite TV. COYS

  • E36 Wreck It Ralph

    17/04/2021 Duración: 01h11min

Groundhog Day or Flatliners? Choose a Hollywood movie title to describe life as a #THFC fan right now. We are sure you can get creative either way, but it feels like its the same pod on a different day (although Tim got emotional to ensure that it wouldn't be). Dan couldn't be with us this week so Sam, Tim and Vass look back on the draw with Everton, take in your questions and look forward (kind of) to the upcoming game against Southampton and the Carabao Cup Final against Manchester City. We also wonder whether Tim will watch said final next week with Sam or not. COYS

  • E35 Don't Hang Up

    11/04/2021 Duración: 01h01min

No doubt it has been tough being a Spurs fan recently. And with media reports of disharmony in the dressing room and Harry Kane wanting to leave it is hard to be positive about things. Especially after a 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester United that makes hopes of Champions League qualification even slimmer. But whilst there were some negative lapses today during the pod, we did try and find a glimmer of hope. So please don't hang up and bear with us. COYS

  • E34 Welcome To Disappointment

    04/04/2021 Duración: 56min

Back after the international break and with a hunger for premier league football in our hearts. And with the possibility of breaking back into the top four and put Champions League qualification in our own hands. Of course in such scenarios the script never goes to plan and we are once again left mulling over what might have been. Tim, Sam and Dan are here to go over the issues arising from another disappointing performance, this time against relegation threatened Newcastle. That's 15 points dropped from winning positions this season for Spurs. The crew analyse the game, answer your questions and look forward to next weeks encounter with Manchester United. Oh joy! COYS

  • E33 We Were On A Break

    27/03/2021 Duración: 01h16min

Well we were supposed to be on a break, an international one, but Tim, Dan and Vass are back to answer your questions and talk about recent #THFC issues. Gareth Bale gave an interesting interview this week. We also discussed what the immediate future holds and answered some more personal questions posed by you. We look ahead to the Newcastle game next week and Timmy gives us an injury update. As for Sam? No idea. COYS

  • E32 Captains Log

    21/03/2021 Duración: 01h08min

After a "disgraceful" performance in Zagreb last Thursday that saw an end to our Europa League campaign, the podcast crew (minus Dan) is back to assess the fallout from the defeat, and in particular the scathing criticism of the performance by Captain Hugo Lloris. We take in your questions and thoughts as ever, although we start on a positive note, looking at today's victory in the Premier League against Aston Villa, but we view the victory in isolation of the previous result. The pod takes a break for the international weekend and will be back after the Premier League game against Newcastle. COYS

  • E31 Everyone And Their Mum

    14/03/2021 Duración: 56min

They say that a week is a long time in football. Well three months must be a lifetime. In December Spurs beat Arsenal to go top of the league. Today Spurs lost at the Emirates in a lacklustre performance that leaves the team with feint hopes of making the top four. The team are back to discuss what went wrong in the recent NLD and debate what could have been done differently and what the outlook is now. We look back at the victory over Dinamo Zagreb. Tim brings us an injury update off the back of a new injury for Son Heung Min. And to be honest we don't even discuss forthcoming fixtures because we are all too deflated after the NLD! COYS

  • E30 Fire Assist

    07/03/2021 Duración: 01h03min

In this week's episode the crew are joined by Elena Nicola from Lilywhite_TV (she's also on youtube). We discuss three Premier League wins in a row, something we haven't achieved since November! We look back at a comprehensive victory over Crystal Palace and discuss the resurgence of Gareth Bale and the prolific Harry Kane. There was a Matt Doherty assist and we even heap some praise on Lucas who seems to be revelling in his new position. We discuss a hard fought win against Fulham in midweek and even take time to admire Scott Parker's sartorial choices. Of course we look ahead too and to our upcoming fixtures against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League and the premier league game against that other lot from South London. COYS

  • E29 The Lad Dale

    28/02/2021 Duración: 01h08min

In this weeks episode we look back on something we haven't done for a while, and that's two wins in a row. Well at least it feels like it's been a while. And we make a conscious effort not to discuss the manager for a change! So two 4-0 wins in the space of a few days against Wolfsberger and Burnley to consider. The guys look at our central defensive issues and how it can be fixed: we discuss Bale; what to do with Vinicius; and a new lad called Dale in our preferred front three!. We answer your questions and discuss a lot more besides, and as ever we look forward to next weeks games and Tim still manages to squeeze in a Pizza reference at the end. COYS

  • E28 Give it to Micky

    21/02/2021 Duración: 01h03min

Well another week passes and its yet another league defeat that the crew has to dissect. This time at high flying West Ham, a team that we have tended to have the better of in the recent past. We discuss issues at play, and we discuss Jose again. (Sorry it does feel a little like Groundhog Day doesn't it. Well at least we beat Wolfsberger n the week so we touch on that too. COYS

  • E27 The Shit Romanian Team

    13/02/2021 Duración: 01h08min

On this weeks podcast Sam, Dan, Tim and Vass look back on what has been another horrible week. Losing to Everton in the FA Cup after scoring four goals, and then a lacklustre and deserved defeat to Champions Elect Manchester City. We look at the issue that are affecting performances. Are the issues systemic? Is it Jose's fault or the players? Does it have to be somebody's fault? What needs to change? Can it change? Lots of things to consider and of course your questions are at the heart of our programme.

  • E26 Marmite

    07/02/2021 Duración: 01h13min

In this week's podcast Sam, Dan, Tim and Vass look back on what has been an awful period for Spurs that reached a nadir of negativity on Thursday night with a lacklustre surrender at home to Chelsea. Even Tim came over to the Dark Side and further still he makes a bold revelation during this pod so listen out for that. We look at the win over WBA and discuss pros and cons whilst contemplating whether this victory was enough to placate us after our recent run of results, and in particular the quality (or lack thereof) of our recent performances. We have lots of listener questions to get through (thank you) and we look forward to our forthcoming matches too.

  • E25 Dumpster Fire Still Burning

    01/02/2021 Duración: 01h14min

As Spurs premier League campaign continues to go from bad to worse, the Doctor's Surgery is back with another therapy prescription for you. Dan has just got back to Spain (somehow) and so it's Sam, Tim and Vass who host and look back at a week that started with a win against Wycombe (yes that really happened), and then two abject defeats against Liverpool and Brighton. We analyse the games and consider the issues around the team that may be impacting performances. And we discuss at some length whether Jose's time at Spurs is coming to a premature end. We talk Aurier, Dele, and many more things. Join us and we hope that this helps cure the malady.

We look at the victory over Sheffield United and take a reflective look at the disappointing draw with Fulham. We discuss performances and tactics. We spend time talking Ndombele and of course Dele. Has the relationship with Jose totally broken down? We touch on Bale and also ponder whether a return for Eriksen makes sense as we dip our toes into the current transfer window.

  • E22 Devine Intervention

    10/01/2021 Duración: 01h15min
