We know about Satan's confrontation with Jesus in the wilderness, but he also attacked the Disciples later. The Lord won His personal battle with the devil, but the record of His followers' encounters with the Evil One was more "mixed," shall we say. Satan didn't go easy on them on account of the fact that they were "just learning." The time when King Satan caught an invader. From the devil's point of view he had won the world - we can't say "fair and square" - but he was the legal owner of this property called Earth. Now, Someone had broken into his estate. He recognized this Intruder, even though He was much different now.
