On the latest episode we discuss Ralph's "Never seen pick" 1974's, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. This classic horror film was directed by Tobe Hooper and featured Gunnar Hansen in the iconic role of "Leatherface". Some of the crew had never seen this film, in addition to Ralph, so it was interesting to hear the takes on the film. Does it hold up? Does it deserve its cult like status? On the latest episode of YKY we take a break from the Bollywood/Tollywood run we have been on with John's horror pick, 2010's Tucker & Dale VS Evil. It stars Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk and Katrina Bowman. It was directed and written by Eli Craig. It's a complete change of pace from the films we have been watching. It's a horror/comedy flick that takes the "College kids go camping and are terrorized by backwoods hilbillies" and flips it on its head. Does the genre bending work? Does it live up to Ralph's praise? If our views drop will be right back with an Indian film? Tune in to find out.

On the latest episode of YKY we discuss Debbie's pick, which came highly recommended by our Indian watchers. We were looking for a more "grounded Indian film" after the last two we watched. This definitely meets that criteria. It's the true story of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and one man's two-decade plan to assassinate the man responsible for the horrific act against the people of India. It is a powerful and disturbing film directed by Shoojit Sircar with a mesmerizing lead performance by Vicky Singh. This film is not for the weak of heart do not expect RRR or Baahubali. This is a serious film about serious events.

Well, based on the overwhelming International response to our RRR review, the latest episode of YKY is one that was suggested to us by some of our supporters. Sean picked the 2015 film, Baahubali: The Beginning. Directed by the same director of RRR, S.S. Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannah Bhatia. Does it stack up to RRR? Does Drew continue his Indian history classroom? Does Ralph question the speeding up of dance numbers. Does YKY become a Bollywood, Tollywood movie review show to continue increasing our viewership? On the latest episode of YKY we go to Tollywood to discuss Drew's "Never seen pick, 2022's RRR.(Rise, Roar, Revolt). This a fictional story of two true life Indian freedom fighters who never actually met. This "what if" film was directed by S.S Rajamouli and stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charen Teja (The Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise of India) in what is one of the craziest, colorful, violent, beautiful and even contains incredible musical production numbers. I can truly say I have never seen anything like this. Did the 3 hr and 7 minute run time turn the gang off? Was the use of animals in an amazing action scene remind us of Dr. Doolittle? You have to watch or listen to find out.

On the latest episode of YKY we go back to film school with John's "never seen pick" 1954's classic, Seven Samurai. Directed brilliantly by Akira Kurosawa (Also wrote the screenplay) and starring Takashi Shimura, Keiko Tsushima and in a stand out performance, Toshiro Mifune. We dissect the film and of course make comparisons to the classic 1960 re-make, The Magnificent Seven. Does it live up to the hype? Is it a film that has really influenced modern cinema? The latest episode of YKY's "Never Seen" pick is Sean's choice, Francis Ford Coppola's 1981's One from the Heart. The controversial film that killed his Zoetrope Studios. The film was universally panned when it was released in 1981. Curious when you consider the stellar cast including, Teri Garr, Frederick Forrest, Raul Julia, Harry Dean Stanton, Natassja Kinski and Lainie Kazaan. Is it a musical, a romantic comedy, an avant-garde new wave film or simply a passion project from a director who wanted to re-create the old Hollywood studio system? In keeping with the "recommend a movie you have not seen", the latest episode of YKY is Chris's choice. He chose Carol Reed's 1947 film Odd Man Out. A film about an Irish Nationalist attempting to evade the police after being injured in a botched robbery. If you're a fan of far superior, The 3rd Man, you will see the Reed style throughout the movie. It stars James Mason in a role that catapulted his career and look for early roles of Dan O'Herilhy (The "old man" in RoboCop) and William Hartnell the original Dr. Who.)

On the latest episode of YKY, we discuss Debbie's pick, 500 Days of Summer. This "love story"...not really, sparked a lively discussion about love, true love and what happens after a break up. If you ever experienced love or lost love, you may connect with this episode. The film directed by Marc Webb and stars Joseph-Gordon Levitt and as Summer, Zooey Deschanel. If you ever had your heart broken be cautious with this one.

"Rosebud". With that word the YKY discuss what is considered the greatest American film ever made, 1941's Citizen Kane. Co-written, directed and starring the 25 year old wonder kid, Orson Welles. This is the first choice of our current format of picking a movie we have not seen. (I know, not seen Citizen Kane...how does that happen?) This was Ralph's choice who doesn't historically enjoy B&W films with the old school acting. What did he think? What did the gang think? Watch and find out. You may be surprised, I was. On the latest episode of YKY, romance is in the air. We discuss Debbie’s pick, the 1999 Romantic Comedy, Notting Hill. A cute story about a girl who meets a boy and falls in love. Starring Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant and a great supporting cast of British actors. Written and directed by Roger Michell and written by Richard Curtis, who also wrote Four Weddings and a Funeral and Love Actually. It definitely has a British feel. Does the group get swept up in the romance or do they just not buy it? Watch and find out.

Tonight the YKY gang enter the Arthurian Legend with the film The Green Knight. Directed with a stylish flair by David Lowery and starring Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris and as the Green Knight Ralph Ineson. Does the film, based on a 14th century poem, translate to a current audience, that is part of our discussion. Me, I think I prefer Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Run away! Run Away!

On the latest episode of YKY, a film class staple. 1955's Bad day at Black Rock. Directed by John Sturges and starring Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan and an all-star supporting cast. It's a tension filled mystery that ends with a fiery conclusion. This was John's pick so you can bet Ralph will have lots to say about it. If you have never seen this film it may be one you want to check out. Film class is now open.

On the latest episode of YKY we discuss the film noir classic The Maltese Flacon. Directorial debut of John Houston and in.a career defining role, Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade. This is a film that changed the "Detective movies" and influences current films. Pay attention to the fantastic supporting cast who play off of Bogart beautifully. This is a film...that dreams are made of.

Tonight on YKY, Chris imports a film from Hong Kong, 1994's Chungking Express. This film was distributed in the US as the result of Quentin Tarantino who fell in love with it. Directed by Kar-Wai-Wong and starring Takeshi Kaneshiro, Tony Chiu-Wal Leung, Brigitte Lin and in her film debut, Hong Kong Pop superstar Faye Wong. If you're a fan of Asian cinema you may enjoy this "ethereal" story of lost and new found love. If not...well I hope you like the song California Dreaming.

On the latest episode of YKY we discuss 1980's film The 9th Configuration. Directed by the Exorcist author William Peter Blatty. It is an interesting film that is tough to describe. Is it a Marx Brothers comedy, a dark look into mental illness of Viet Nam vets, or is it a jumble of disconnected scenes. We'll let you decide. Lots of familiar faces in the cast led by Stacy Keach, Ed Flanders and Walking Dead actor Scott Wilson. If you have seen this film let us know your thoughts. Starring Robert DeNiro in his first role after Godfather II, Cybil Shepard, Albert Brooks, Peter Boyle, Harvey Keitel and a 14 year old Jodie Foster.
