The father begins to tell the son the benefits of wisdom.

The father teaches the son that wisdom will bring favor from God and man. Then he tells the son that TRUST BRINGS FAVOR, HUMILITY BRINGS FAVOR, WORSHIP BRINGS FAVOR, and SUBMISSION BRINGS FAVOR

The father tells the son that wisdom will offer PROTECTION FROM WILLFULLY WICKED PATHS and PROTECTION FROM WICKEDLY FLESHLY PATHS. The choice of wisdom is a MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.

The father calls the son to DILIGENTLY SEEK THE GIFT OF WISDOM."
