Not all artists benefit from having an artist manager decide the direction of their career.   One of my biggest music manager tips before you hire somebody to take 15% of your music income is to stop and PRIORITISE your activities.   Focus on creating content that attracts industry eyeballs instead of waiting for an artist manager to bring you opportunities you couldn't attract yourself.  Musicians asking the question "when to find a music manager" simply need some business to manage. Instead of giving a manager a percentage of revenue from gigs / merch sales / beats, it's much easier to hire a virtual assistant at the start to send out invoicing and keep track of incoming money.

Once you figure out how to grow from 0 to 1000 fans, the next journey for your second 1,000 fans In 90 days gets a bit easier.   I’ve done the struggle and worked out how to go from 0 to 1000 fans 4 times in my life as I transitioned from a blog to a magazine, to a record label and then personal brand with a social media coaching business.    The answer to grow your fanbase isnt “post more content” or “be consistent”.
