Good morning Horners! Yesterday your Minnesota Vikings went to play the Indianapolis Colts and it was frustrating to say the least. Good Morning Gjallarhorn went LIVE with post game reaction. Flipmazzi, Drew and Dave broke down some aspects of it, vented like most of you, and looked forward to what needed to be done to start to fix this disappointment. Coaching decisions or lack of effective preparation from Mike Zimmer and Gary Kubiak came into focus, but that wasn’t all, especially when an exactly .500 quarterback, Kirk Cousins, generates a 15.9 quarterback rating. Coach Zimmer talked about lack of identity and that applies to both sides of the ball. Frustrating right?  The Vikings again were lopsided on the time of possession with the defense being on the field for 38.25 minutes. That is a slight improvement over week 1, but still extremely troubling. The offense can’t seem to move the ball consistently except for the first drive and garbage time. Good morning Horners! Vikings versus Packers, week 1, and this is your GMG pregame show where we look at the upcoming game. That team from Wisconsin [TTFW] comes down to play in U.S. Bank stadium, an empty stadium with pumped in fan noise. Will it make a difference? Probably not due to the fact that reports are saying it will be at a low 70 to 90 dB, but it isn't all about the noise, it is about how your Minnesota Vikings will fare against their hated division rival, the Green Bay Packers. The Minnesota Vikings defense in 2020. In the final episode, part 3, the Vikes’ linebackers and defensive line look to be set. Returning LBs like one of the best in the NFL, Eric Kendricks will be back to see if he can repeat his league leading performance from last season. Anthony Barr remains in his key role as well. Then look to see Eric Wilson start with them in the base due to Ben Gedeon being on the PUP and rookie Troy Dye as a backup.
