On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Langsam(@PTPJacob) of the Panther Pourri Podcast to break down the Panthers' 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals where the Cats got out to a 1-0 lead 7:00 into the game, but were unable to add on to the scoring. The Capitals were able to prevent the Panthers to cleanly break out of their own end, and gave the Panthers little time and space in the offensive zone. One theme was consistent throughout the evening, missing the net, where with the team being on the skid they're on it now seems as if they're over thinking their shot decisions once they get the puck in their opponents' zone. Spencer Knight got the start and also gave the team a chance to win where it was 2-1 before the Caps scored two empty netters. The game went into the third period with the game tied at one before Washington scored on a 5-on-3 power play, and they went on to play their shutdown defense for the rest of the period where the puck
