On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@JacobWinans8) for another edition of Winans Wednesday. The two break down the Panthers' 5-4 OT loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins from the Steel City. After a disallowed goal, the Pens used 1:12 to get two goals on the board. The Panthers controlled play, but failed to deliver more of the net-front opportunities until the third period, until they were already down by three scores. Matthew Tkachuk came alive as he had a four-point game and got to the 600-point mark for his career. Florida had quite a few defensive miscues that cost them a second point and had them playing catch up all night, but used 4:32 in the third period to score three times and tie it at 4, allowing them to force overtime. The two discuss their three duds, when they knew the game was lost, and respond to a poll question of whether or not they should be satisfied with a point.
