On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Florida Panthers Historian Francisco Oporta (@fjojr and @FLACatsHistory) to the show to break down Canada's 3-2 OT win over the USA in the Four Nations Face-Off Championship. The two discuss the success of the tournament and that it gave hockey fans everything they wanted on a true best-on-best tournament. Canada at times set the pace, and did so early with a goal five minutes into the game where Nathan MacKinnon struck again. USA then would score shortly after juggling their lines, putting Auston Matthews with the Tkachuk brothers. USA then took the lead into the second period thanks to Jake Sanderson, and after a tight third period where the USA was starting to take control, they couldn't capitalize.
