Sinopsis

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Nich Fairbanks(@Prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday. The two break down the Panthers 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers to sweep the season series, where the game was tied in the middle of the third period, right before the Panthers scored the last two to get the two points behind Anton Lundell's three-point performance (1,2). The Panthers never trailed in the game and had six power play opportunities, including two in the final few minutes where the Oilers were creating a bit of a push after cutting the deficit to one and the Panthers were able to put the game away. The Cats set the tone with continuously forcing the Oilers to the outside and maintaining their speed. Florida didn't allow an even strength shot on net for the first 13 minutes of the second period, and Florida was able to remain composed after taking the lead and then immediately surrendering it. They also had another goal taken off
