A certain rich man fell on his knees before Jesus and asked him what he needed to do to have eternal life. Jesus told him to sell all that he had and then to come and follow Him. Upon hearing this, the rich man went away sorrowful. Why didn’t Jesus tell him that he would get back 100 fold of whatever he sold? How about telling him that nobody that has lost something for the Kingdom has not inherited more than they lost?
