Sinopsis

We sat down to have a conversation with Luis Mora.  This interview had been a long time coming, but ended up working out for the better, because as Luis reminded me "I am honored you are interviewing me on Mexican Independence Day weekend -- I was MADE in Mexico you know!"   Luis has an interesting story.  Like many others he found his way to the gym early on in life and it served a few purposes, positive activity for the youngster, and very important to our guest an opportunity to strengthen his connection with his dad. When Luis was a pro fighter his ring nickname was "THE MAYOR"   He was a pro boxer who is also a long time city employee under current Mayor Eric Garcetti.  You don't see that every day.  Tune in to this episode to get hear the narrative journey from a man who's thoughtful and reflective, shares a love for the sport, and shares with our audience his learned experiences.  follow @boxedinpodcast @boxingtldr on IG   The Tiger Woods - Roger Federer anecdote that Garrity poorly paraphrased in this
