  • Ep. 070 - My Top Lessons From My First 6-Figure Launch

    06/04/2021 Duración: 31min

I’ve been involved in dozens of launches and I’ve learned a lot from my experiences. But... Every launch comes with it’s lessons learned.  At this point, I think I’m just learning these lessons on a deeper level. It’s one thing to know that you should care for your mindset, leadership, planning, etc., but it’s a whole other thing to apply this information while you’re trying to scale your business. These five tips can serve anyone, whether you’ve launched a million times or this is your first time. I debrief after every launch and review my lessons learned so I can really learn them (so I don’t have to learn them again!) And hopefully this will help you avoid some of the common mistakes we all make when launching!

  • Ep. 069 - Learn to Receive Everything In Your Business and Life with Patty Lennon

    16/03/2021 Duración: 33min

Why is it so important to learn to receive everything in our lives? Patty Lennon, a keynote speaker, coach, and best selling author that helps people create space for magic in their lives and businesses, found that everyone she met struggling in their businesses was struggling with their ability to receive. There is a kind of magic that comes with learning to receive everything: both the positive and the things we perceive as negative.  She’s seen people go from struggling to make a sale in 8 hours to making $20,000 in revenue just by deciding to go to bed and accept that they’ve already put in all the work they can. Opening up to receiving is the way nature intended us to be as human beings.  When we open ourselves up to affiliates we’re allowing ourselves to receive support, but that’s only one way that receiving can impact our businesses and lives.

  • Ep. 068 - How I Got Featured In Forbes

    09/03/2021 Duración: 26min

Have you ever wondered how you can get your business into a big media outlet like Forbes? For many years I worked behind the scenes for Selena Soo and watched her students get a ton of media wins. I always told myself that I’d do it too someday, if I had the time to promote my own business. Last year was my time. I finally decided to go all in and really focus on promoting and developing my own business. I started out accepting a lot of podcast features and being a guest expert in groups. Here’s the thing, they weren’t huge outlets with the biggest audiences, but I took every opportunity I got. This year I decided to dream big and use the knowledge I had on media and the connections I have with Selena and Lynya Floyd and what do you know: We were able to make it happen! If you want to come along the journey and get more visibility for your business listen to today’s episode to learn more about how I got into Forbes and how you can get featured in the media too! If I can do it, anyone can.

  • Ep. 065 - Why You Don’t Need to be a Marketing Expert To Start Your Own Business with Josh Koerpel

    16/02/2021 Duración: 39min

In Episode 059 Juju Hook taught us how to pivot with mastery - which is taking skills from our old jobs to help us start off with an advantage in our new business. Josh Koerpel is a perfect example of what pivoting can look like and what it can teach us. Josh is the founder and creator of Firebuilders. IO and funnel mappy. He went from working in mechanical engineering to software development, which all started from… Sailing. I was so interested in his story that I wanted him to come on the show and share his experiences with you. He gives insight into the lessons he’s learned about life, work, and business from having pivoted very different careers twice.

  • Ep. 064 - How to Tell Your Brand Story and Connect with Your Audience with Jaya Rose

    09/02/2021 Duración: 30min

As a values based business owner, your brand story is the backbone of your business. They’re literally the reason we start our businesses. “There was a moment where I was sitting in the public library in Portland, and I didn’t know how I was going to make rent the next month. I asked myself, ‘okay, what can I do?” My first step was to make myself a list of things to do, the first act of which was to text people I knew to see if anybody knew of a job opening. Even just texting three people was enough for me to know that something good was around the corner... Over the last few years I’ve seen partnerships change so many lives, including my own, and that’s why I started my Rock Your Affiliate Program. Our brand stories are really just the life changing moments that drive us and make us want to help others like us. Storytelling is NOT a self-serving act. In fact, when done right, storytelling can become medicine to those who hear our valuable stories. They connect us to our audience and help us reach the people

  • Ep. 063 - How to Find the Confidence to Ask For Affiliates

    02/02/2021 Duración: 27min

I've always wanted to do everything by myself. Even as a kid.   If my grandparents tried to do the alphabet with me I would say “NO STOP! I do it I do it!”, because I wanted to do it by myself. I’ve always been praised for being independent, getting things done myself, and “doing it all”.    This is where one of my biggest challenges comes from (and I’m sure that you can relate to this too). Always being independent and wanting to do everything myself makes it incredibly difficult to ask for help.   Some of us don’t even know how to ask, and a lot of the time we can even feel selfish for asking. But here’s the truth...   When it comes to an affiliate program it’s not selfish to ask for help, it’s selfish NOT to ask.   When done right, your partnership program creates a quadruple win for you, your partners, everyone’s audience, and the world. If you don’t ask affiliates for help, all that winning won’t happen!    Whether you’re afraid to ask, or you’re really great at it and just want to get that extra boost,

  • Ep. 062 - Create an Incredible Launch Mindset with Linda Perry

    26/01/2021 Duración: 28min

What is the biggest challenge you face when it comes to launching? If you’re like me, it’s all mindset. Mindset plays a huge role in the well being of our businesses and launches. So many people are afraid of losing control during their launches, or looking stupid, or even playing all out in their launches. And if that’s you I highly recommend that you listen to hear some of Linda's frameworks and advice. Linda Perry is a master mindset coach and business strategist who believes that the key to a crazy successful business is putting mindset first. And in today’s episode we talked about: Learning to separate fact from fiction. Allowing yourself to ask for help. Remembering that every step is a step toward success, whether it’s successful or not. And understanding the difference between facts and the meanings we make out of them.

  • Ep. 061 - Ask Me Anything: Launch Mistakes, Supporting Partners, and Mental Health Awareness In Business

    19/01/2021 Duración: 31min

In today’s episode I’m answering three questions (submitted by students) about affiliate partnerships, making mistakes, supporting partners in launches, and caring for our mental health as business owners. I’m here to answer their questions and give my thoughts on saving time during a launch, reflecting on our mistakes, efficiently creating content for every launch mechanism, and supporting our mental health while running our businesses.

  • Ep. 060 - Imperfect Allyship and Making The World a Better Place with Erica Courdae

    12/01/2021 Duración: 55min

Wherever you are in the world, I'm sure you saw the horrific displays of white supremacy in the U.S. Capitol at the start of 2021. Quite frankly, it was all the more horrific because it was predictable. If we have any chance of making the world the brighter place that I know we all wish to see: full of equality, joy, and love for all people, regardless of how their body (earth suit) looks or who they love or where they were born, then we need to be actively working toward it. Erica Courdae has dedicated her life to expanding how others interact with the world through powerful conversations (like the one we had in this episode). Her work is focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), imperfect allyship, and imposter syndrome. As business owners, it’s our responsibility to make a real shift in the way we work to contribute to making the world a brighter place for all humans.

  • Ep. 059 - Pivot with Mastery: How to change your mind, business, or direction without losing steam or needing to start from scratch

    05/01/2021 Duración: 39min

Whether you’re changing your business offering, working through a rebrand, or you’re starting to feel disconnected from your work and looking to do something different, we’ve all been there when it comes to pivoting.   When you’re going in a new direction it can feel like you have to burn everything down and start again (trust me, I’ve been there). But the truth is, we’re never REALLY starting from scratch.    “Pivoting is not the same thing as beginning again,” Juju says, “It’s a new application of the same mastery.”    When I shut down my health coaching business (I helped women heal their gut problems for several years) and started building websites instead, I was able to build my revenue to the same level in a fraction of the time. And that’s because I already had some mastery of what it took to build a business.   Juju is a master at the pivot and she shares some deeply personal stories in this episode about what it means to completely change your mind while still maintaining equity and knowledge from yo

  • Ep. 058 - Thank You 2020

    29/12/2020 Duración: 25min

During Happy Hour yesterday, I asked everyone to un-mute themselves and say those words: Thank you 2020. It was close to 50/50 with the number of people who looked at me in shock vs. those who were genuinely glad to be saying these words. There may have been a sarcastic remark or two. That’s okay with me. You’re always allowed to feel your feelings.  But if you’re open to the activity we did, I challenge you to write out 10 sentences starting with: “I’m so grateful for…”  In this time of reflecting, and making plans for the year ahead, it can be really easy to say “SEE YA, BITCH!” to what has been the strangest year for most of us. But I’m challenging you to take some time to reflect on the year in its entirety. What was your biggest win of the year and what was the biggest lesson you learned? No matter what your answers are, I want to say cheers to you. You’re amazing. This is how I end my year on a good note, and I hope you can also get something from this gratitude practice.

  • Ep. 057 - Fast Track Your Business By Creating a Signature Offer with Terra Bohlmann

    22/12/2020 Duración: 39min

I’ve talked about slowing down and doing less a lot on this podcast, so it might sound counterintuitive to talk about fast tracking, but it turns out that we’re all on the same page. Terra and I both believe in having integrity and taking care of ourselves outside of business. It turns out some of us just work a little differently! Terra Bohlmann is a business strategist who helps female entrepreneurs accomplish in one year what would normally take them five-years. As the creator of The Business Map Method™, she has crafted over a hundred custom business models for clients who have gone on to build six and seven-figure businesses.  She shared the real secret to taking the fast track... slow down and serve yourself. Sounds contradictory, I know, but you won’t have the energy to go all in serving others if you aren’t taking care of yourself.

  • Ep. 056 - Referrals on Repeat: Using the ‘Cycle of Partnerships’ for Ongoing Affiliates

    15/12/2020 Duración: 20min

What do underwear and partnerships have in common? When a brand does them well, it creates a cycle of either repeat customers or repeat partnerships!  That’s a kind of no brainer fact but in this episode of The Laura Sprinkle Show, I’m going to break down what I call the “Cycle of Partnerships,” which is exactly how all my 6- and 7-figure clients have affiliates that go ALL IN on their promotions and come back for more every time they run another launch.

  • Ep. 055 - How to Get Featured in the Media with Cher Hale

    08/12/2020 Duración: 33min

Getting featured in the media can lead to some big things for you and your business. I’m talking about new clients, amazing connections, and even $50,000+ in revenue (a true story Cher told me in this episode!).   Cher Hale is the founder and director of Ginkgo PR, a boutique agency that believes in using public relations to amplify the voices of underrepresented and marginalized groups. As a Taiwanese-Black American woman, Cher is passionate about leveraging the power of media to tell diverse stories so she can play a role in reshaping how our society views social justice, give-back initiatives, feminism, and multiculturalism.   If you’re thinking “Is my story even interesting enough?” then you're asking yourself the wrong question. These questions are more along the lines of what you should be thinking:   What are some specific challenges I’ve overcome while building my business?  What did I do extremely well?  Why do I do what I do?

  • Ep. 054 - How to Make Connections That Are Guaranteed to Grow Your Business

    01/12/2020 Duración: 18min

As someone who built their business using partnerships, I’ve never really had an issue making connections. When I need to do something I just send a text or hop in a call with a friend and get things moving.  I’ve been told by my team, and fellow entrepreneurs, that it can seem pretty intimidating if you don’t know exactly where to start. I’m here to give you that nudge to start making connections in your business today! Last week I gave you the secret to building aligned affiliate partnerships (Check it out if you haven’t heard that one yet!). And now I want to share my process for how I make these connections, so you can start doing it for yourself, or amplifying what you’re already doing.
