Opposition couldn't stop the New Testament Church. Persecution just made them stronger.

The New Testament Church didn't have a building to meet in so they met in public spaces where everything they did was visible to the world. Non believers were attracted to what they saw in the lives of the believers and wanted to join the family of God.

Today we will look at the story of Ananias and Sapphira from Acts chapter 2 and learn how important our integrity is to God.

Acts 4:33 says that the grace of God was powerfully at work in all of the believers. Today we will learn what it means to walk in the grace of God.

Although God wants everyone to follow Him, He will never force obedience. Christ never commanded His disciples to go into the world and force people to follow him...instead he commanded them to share the good news and present a better way of living.

The believers pray for more of the Holy Spirits power so that they will remain strong in the face of opposition.

Now that the apostles had the power that Jesus promised to give them they immediately started doing the job that Jesus had given them to do. They preached the good news and gave what they had to those in need.

The Church that Christ built was successful because they were unified and did everything in the power of the Holy Spirit

The Early Church conducts their first business meeting.

The Church that we read about in the book of Acts was birthed in prayer and prayer was sustained through prayer.

Today we will look at the famous Prayer of a man named Jabez and find out why it was important enough to get special mention in the Bible.

What if each of us started praying like Isaiah and instead of praying for God to send someone else to be his spokesman prayed, "Here I am Lord, Send Me!"

Victory comes through praise. Praise activates God’s power.
