When you think of an individual in need, the first few areas of need require food, water, clothing or shelter. But what about a bed? Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering bunk beds to children and families in need. The organization has a chapter located in Kenosha, Wisconsin and with the help of the Odd Job Larry construction crew they are delivering beds to local families all over Southeast Wisconsin. We chatted with Zach Stock of Sleep in Heavenly Peace and James Warner of Odd Job Larry to talk about their main focus: "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town."

It all began with an overly generous tip and a will to want to help. Stan Anderson is leading the way to support local restaurant owners by collecting community donations and surprising local business owners throughout Racine, Wisconsin. The campaign has been publicized on local news stations all over the state and is known as Venmo Challenge Racine.

Mandy and Chris Fox planned out what they thought was going to be a relaxing and uneventful vacation to Jamaica. Little did they know that this trip would later develop into an organization called, The Irie (Blessed) Child and an opportunity to give community back to children with the simple donation of a soccer ball. At the young age of 7 years old, Seth Bayles was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disorder that would affect his life forever. A few weeks back, Community State Bank (CSB) launched their annual employee donation campaign, called #Gift2Giving. Each CSB employee was given $100 to put back into the community through a non-profit organization of their choice. Each year a group of local leaders get together to make a difference within the Union Grove community, also known as Leadership Union Grove. The Leadership Union Grove Class of 2019 has decided to allocate their time and efforts towards developing a concession stand at Yorkville Elementary School’s baseball diamonds. A few week’s back 14 of our CSB employees delivered a donation to our friends at Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. This donation was a part of our recent #Gift2Giving campaign. The project has been a 3 year journey to create local railroad tracks into a community path that can be used for many years to come.
