After taking some time off, Kev from I Love Qatar and I are back to tell you about the best events coming up. We've got lots to discuss, including a few women's business networking events, a jungle-themed party at the Hilton, and Doha Player's latest offering.

We get a special preview of The Edge's October magazine, as well as some off-shoot publications that focus on "green" and construction issues in Qatar. Topics we cover include 7ayak Hub's launch, the country's water supply's future, and upcoming business events happening this fall.

Today's episode features Paula Manzanera, who has spent the majority of her life living and working in the Middle East. She recounts her experiences spending holidays in Saudi Arabia as a child, trying to live a normal life in war-torn Lebanon, and finding a new start in Qatar.
