The deal is done… or at least a deal is done. Microsoft has done the impossible and locked a deal with PlayStation to keep Call of Duty on the Sony platform for the next 10 years. Negotiations continue with the CMA to pass the deal in the UK but there is light at the end of this never ending tunnel of the Activision Xbox merger.   In other Xbox news it’s an end of an era with the death of Xbox Live and the one and only Major Nelson leaving Microsoft. Thye showed off new Alan Wake 2 footage and gave us a good look at Spider-Man 2 gameplay but where are their exclusive?   Games we expected to see were notably missing including Silent Hill 2 Remake and The Last of Us Factions. So, is 2024 due to be a dead year for PlayStation players? It’s a slow week for Xbox news but a big week in Nintendo land Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has dropped and pretty much got 10/10 across the board. But with a lot of assets reused from Breath of the Wild and not much improvement in graphics or performance compared to it’s predecessor it begs the question, could xbox get away with releasing a game like that in 2023?   Kresh and Matt give their thoughts on the latest Zelda title as well as Ravenlok, Potion Craft and WWE 2K23.
