It's only been two games, but Adam Henrique has scored a point in each of those games. He was thrust into the top line center role with Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler still out. Henrique recorded two assists, as his initial goal against Nashville was changed to an assist.On this show we talk about the trade and share our thoughts even though it's only been a few games. Last Friday the Anaheim Ducks bounced the Montreal Canadiens out of Honda Center with a wild 6-2 win. The Ducks did lose Cam Fowler to injury in the game. To make matters worse the Ducks announced today that Patrick Eaves has Guillain–Barré syndrome, which causes the immune system to attack the nerve system. Both players have been placed on the injury reserve. On this show, we discuss how the Ducks will have to carry on without both Fowler and Eaves. We talk about the possibility of Anaheim trying to make a trade and how they will have to adjust the lineup due to the injuries. During the summer it was known that Hampus Lindholm and Sami Vatanen wouldn't be available for the start of the NHL season. Now the Anaheim Ducks are faced with also being without Ryan Kesler for at least the first couple months of the season. The question for Randy Carlyle is how will his adjust his forward lineup without Kesler. This past week the Anaheim Ducks brought back Francois Beauchemin for his third tour of duty. He signed a one-year deal worth $1 million, including $500,000 in performance bonuses. The Ducks signed Cam Fowler to an eight-year extension and picked up Ryan Miller as a back-up goalie on July 1st.
