Episode 85: "Aspirations" with Jesse DeFlorio
24/04/2014 Duración: 01h20minSat down this week this a former bandmate, one of my best friends Jesse DeFlorio. I haven't seen Jesse in a while and it'll probably be a while until I see him again. This episode is recorded less than two weeks before Jesse leaves to make a home for himself on the west coast. He's moving to LA, somewhere I thought I wanted to live. So we talk about that. We also bring you back to the beginning, how he and I first met. I express how difficult it was being apart of Off Broadway but also share some of the great moments that we had. I didn't think I had too much influence on this guy, but then he reminded me of a tour I passed up which launched a career of his. Check it out!

Episode 84: "Heart and Heritage" with Andre Fersa, Adam Reyes, Kevin Modica
17/04/2014 Duración: 01h42minSat down this week with the guys behind Virile. A men's barber shop located in Waldwick, New Jersey and now Jersey City, New Jersey. Adam Reyes the founder talks to us about his vision and how it came to be. We also here how he along with Andre and Kevin were all brought together by the passion of barbering. This podcast came to be by me being a customer of Virile. I would have such awesome conversation with them that I suggested about doing a podcast with the guys at the shop. Little did I know they would shut down the shop for the whole day for me. It was awesome hanging out with the guys and I hope you enjoy listening to us talk as much as I did being apart of the conversation. Check it out! Episode 83: "Evolution" with Francesco Paladino
10/04/2014 Duración: 01h35minSat down this week to talk with Francesco Paladino. Today's episode is dedicated to the Ultimate Warrior, who I found how passed away 24 hours from recording the intro to this episode. Francesco Paladino returns to Pop Cultivation, to talk about where he's been, what he's been up to. He first appeared on episode 17 and short after become a reoccuring character on this podcast. Unfortuntely we haven't heard from him since last year when he appeared on episode 40. That long again. Well, he's back and gives me some very vital life changing advice. Which you'll hear about. So check it out this episode with the very disturbing stand up comedian Francesco Paladino. FOLLOW US: @FrancescoShow // @PopCultPodcast // @yeahgiancarlo

Episode 82: "Life In Motion" with Coral Weber, Dave Tanis
03/04/2014 Duración: 01h13minSat down last week with Coral Weber and Dave Tanis. This is 2 of 2 podcasts I recorded back to back. Coral Weber is no stanger. We attended the same private catholic school together and reconnected a years later in during high school. Now we reconnect again, even more years later. Coral and I talk about Saint Thomas More, being in a high school play of "Bye Bye Birdie" and things like driving across country to LA. She also shares stories of being in the same improv class as Vine Famous KC James and smoking weed in an army base. That's pretty American, if you ask me. Coral is an aspiring comedic actress. So hopefully you'll find this funny, if not, maybe watch some of her Vines? Oh, Dave Tanis is on too. Doesn't say much. Check it out! Episode 81: "Accepted" with Eggs
26/03/2014 Duración: 01h09minSat down this week with one of the best, one of the most interesting people in my life, Eggs. Eggs is one of the oldest friends I have, because our friendship dates back to pre-school. We talk a lot about growing up, like playing on the same soccer team, me shooting a watergun filled with coca cola at him. Then to present day things like his band A Midnight Tragedy. Which he's been playing bass guitar in for the past 7 years. He's one unique dude, who at a time thought he needed to work hard to fit in, but found himself by just being himself, the person we love today, Eggs. So check it out! Right outside of LaGuardia Airport. We sit down and talk like we know eachother. We talk about going to the Comedy Store in LA. Comedy is a large part of this conversation. We talk about what inspires us. What influences us. Like podcasts and podcasting. Also personal subjects like breaking social norms, like going out to a club alone. We also talk about Pizza Hut a lot too. I tell him a funny story about a kid at the UCB theatre who wears a Colt Cabana shirt. Hear it all including the intersting story on how I got today's guest on this podcast and how it never hurts to ask. Check it out! I've known of Chris my entire life, when I first saw him taking drum lessons in my house. Or when he used to ride his unicycle around town. I never really talked to him until after he and I both graduated Waldwick High School and began attending the hell known as Bergen Community College (but that's a whole other battle to discuss). We talk about how he hiked from Georgia to Maine (go to his youtube channel and check out his video!). He also tells us about his new job that he just got with Cirque du Soleil's show "Totem". Even though this episode gets very emotional, we still have some awesome laughs. Zach and I also talk about our friendship and everything we've been through. From BNi (my skateboard video) to For A Year In A Day (a documentary we made two years ago) Zach has been apart of a lot of things I've done. Now this is his long awaited episode. Check it out. That's right, for the past two week's Rob Guizio took over hosting duties for Pop Cultivation as I was away having surgery (which you'll hear about as well, in this episode). Rob and I discuss his experience of hosting the show and pretty much have a goofy conversation that leads us down many roads including playing in bands and having shitty band members. Plus Dave Tanis stops by to talk about his new hit single "RIP (My Favorite Soul)". A song he and I produced in tribute to his cat. We talk about how we wrote the song, made the music video and got the oppertunity to perform it LIVE last Saturday night at UCB Theatre in NYC. We also expose a huge secret about the song never before admitted. This is all about having new experiences. So check it out.
