Episode 26: "Jump The Shark" with Andy Ajamian, Paul Wrocklage, Dave Barnaba, Eric Martens
14/11/2012 Duración: 02h23sSat down to try and recreate a lost podcast. With a lot of returning guests. I can not say that we are returning after over a two week hiatus with a bang but I really hope this episode isn't jumping the shark. We talk about current events such as Hurricane Sandy and then of course the election. Andy again plugs Alex Jones' Podcast. We give our opinions on marijuana being legalized. Paul hates eating cotton candy in public. Why doesn't Rita have daily flavors? Why can't they just have all the flavors. Barnaba and I talk about almost getting arrested in Washington Square Park which leads to a discussion about Salvia. Andy then talks about GMOs again! Martens wants to know if Manginas are ok. Paul recently went to Africa and we try to squeeze out as much dirt about his trip as we can. We then go into an in depth conversation about the movie the Matrix. And of course we give our opinions on Disney purchasing the Star Wars franchise. I can keep telling you everything we talked about but HEY I might ruin something.

Episode 25: "Real" with Sean Williams
23/10/2012 Duración: 01h27minSat down again in a car to record this podcast. Actually recorded the opening to this podcast in a car as well. Why have I been finding myself in cars so much lately? Odd. Anyways. Returning from this week's episode of RAW live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ my buddy Frank Aitoro and I give a quick review of the show. We also talk about who's the best wrestler of all time and Frank asks the audience to write in and give their opinion. Also we grab some beverages from Sonic before getting to the interview with my guest, independent wrestler, Team RUDO member Sean Williams. Who I recorded episode 25 with last week. I talk with Sean about his start in wrestling. Training with the Wild Samoan Afa and he takes us through a timeline to where he is today. Sean Williams is the last member of Team RUDO to be on Pop Cultivation and I'm glad I saved the best for last. Like I've mentioned in a previous podcast he definitely has that "it" factor and with his determination I feel he will one day be a star. Che

Episode 24: "Go Go Comic Con" with Billy Cury, Dave Weinbrecht
17/10/2012 Duración: 01h32minSat down with Billy Cury. Ok fine. We only sat during the car ride there and back. Then eventually got out of the car to galavant around the Jacob Javits Center all day for the 2012 NY Comic Con. This wasn't my first time at a Comic Con. So I returned ready to take on the all day event. Got to see a lot of cool things including costumes and celebrity panels. During the beginning of the day I lost Bill and met up with Dave. Who was just coming from First Aid, after tripping on a pothole outside of the convention center. We searched for Bill for hours until we finally called #BillQuest quits and walked into the Adam West/Bert Ward spotlight. Also on the show, I turn around and we run into a previous guest from this podcast. On the way home I talk to Billy Cury, who runs WoohWaah.com, about his experiences and recap the day. I also learn some interesting things I didn't know about him. So check it out and when you're done follow @BillyCury and check out his site: WoohWaah.com Oh and yes, FOLLOW: @PopCultPodcast

04/10/2012 Duración: 02h06minSat down again with Francesco Paladino. We make no hesitations in talking about reality television. Discussing Travel Channel's Toy Hunter and his opinions on those types of shows and collectables in general. Francesco asks about my Twitter Followers, which lead into us talking about a follow by the name of Keith and we listen to his song "She's Got A Pussy Crush, But She's A Cock Puncher". We play Marry, Fuck, Kill or Kill, Marry, Fuck. I tell how much seeing Howard Stern's "Private Parts" inspired me and Francesco reveals and interesting fact about the movie. He also shares how his experience of audition for Kevin Smith, yes, that Kevin Smith. We share funny YouTube videos ($5 Wrestling's Freight Train and Nicole Duke) and give people credit for being themselves. Which leads to me sharing a current problem I am having involving the FaceBook Newsfeed and jealously. Francesco then looks for a Christina Aguilera clip for 20 minutes. VMAs and MTV are a strong reminiscing conversation. FOLLOW THE SHOW: @POPCULT

Episode 21: "Stupid Attraction" with Eric Martens, Dave Tanis
30/09/2012 Duración: 01h18minSat down this week with Eric Martens. Why just Martens? Oh because every guest I booked this week fell through. Then Dave Tanis came by. We discuss current events. How many cats you should own. Halloween costumes. Like how Martens should be John Cena and Tanis should be a referee. We then talk about cats again. We sorta start talking about the 2012 election, but I try not to go to deep into it, because NO ONE LIKES POLITICS. That's pretty much all this episode is about. Enjoy. Oh yeah and we give out Tanis' phone number at the end of the show. Call him. FOLLOW: @PopCultPodcast

Episode 19: "That's Jason" with Jason James
11/09/2012 Duración: 01h10minSat down once again in the comfort of my living room to produce this week's show with performance artist Jason James. Jason has been touring the world for years as a rock n roll act. Recently returning from Memphis, TN where he recorded at Sun Studio's, the same place where Elvis recorded and the genre was born. We discuss his future endeavors and I tell some stories of my own. Mr. James doesn't seem to be a real talker but certainly comes to life when he performs. At the end of the show we hear him play a couple songs and you'll see just how talented he is. After the show I talk about Episode 20, next week's episode, which will also be my Birthday. I hope previous listeners come back and listen (THAT MEANS YOU haha). Stay tuned for when you can tune in live. I also ask the question of "why am I sleeping so much?" His love for the sport. This episode is like a part 2 of Episode 3: "Ribbed" with JC Bouchard. We hear about his adventures of being a wrestler for over a decade. We talk about our wrestling stable Team RUDO and do some word association. Gotta love it. Follow Chris after the show: @DrofDesire and follow the show too: @PopCultPodcast

Episode 14: "Stories" with Verna Dittamo
09/08/2012 Duración: 01h16minSat down with one of my favorite people in this world, my grandmother. Otherwise known as Gram or her actual name Verna. She talks to us about living in Waldwick, the town she was born in and still lives in to this day. Stories of when she was younger. The crazy things she would get in trouble doing. Having children, like my father. The things she crochets. Then we even listen to some songs off my phone on Spotify. This episode gets serious at times but we still laugh and have fun. You'll definitely get why I love this woman. Listen for the rules to the first ever Pop Cultivation Contest. Where you "share the show" and I'll select one lucky person to receive a pair of hand made crocheted slippers, made by my grandmother. Episode 13: "Karate. Yoga. Podcast. Repeat." with Rob Guizio, Caitlin Carey
02/08/2012 Duración: 02h26minSat down with Rob Guizio and chatted about camping and vacationing to cool places. Our history of playing in bands as well as listening to his new band Policemen In Pickups. I also think of a great idea to create a vertical bath called a Vertibath. Then the podcast got even better when Caitlin Carey arrived. Injecting the podcast with interesting facts and more fun than we were originally having. No really. She tells us about her experiences at her first karate class. We discuss the 2012 Summer Olympics. Rob spoils the movie "Remember Me". Why doesn't Netflix have the right Dawson's Creek theme on Instant Streaming? Rob then Google Image Searches "Chyna as She Hulk". (Don't do it, bad idea.) Caitlin and I share our Lou Ferrigno stories. As well as an in depth review of my show opening for Teddy Geiger. This episode breaks the record for the longest episode of this podcast. So feel free to pause and come back. Stick around and check out another song by Policemen In Pickups called "Morrissey" at the end of the

Episode 12: "Sara Smith" with Matt Cohen, Javier Raez, Joseph Santelies
25/07/2012Sat down with Matt Cohen who runs ItsBongoBoy.com and his crew Javier otherwise known as Javick and his cousin Joseph. We talk about the success of his website and how he has collected almost 200 video interviews of celebrities/musicians. Take a time machine back to January when he and I spoke at the NAMM show in Anaheim, Javier's beef with Gene Simmons and how great In-N-Out burger is. Matt tells me about his love for my song "Those Eyes" and this girl Sara Smith and also what it's like going into senior year of High School. We also talk about getting with girls and parties and bullshit. This is definitely one of the funniest episodes so far. Episode 11: "Bat Cultivation" with Jay Amabile, Anthony Serio, Jay Dittamo
20/07/2012 Duración: 01h29minSat down, in line, at the Palisades Mall in Nyack, New York, for "the most anticipated movie of the summer" the Dark Knight Rises, the last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman Franchise. Joined with me are Caitlin, Billy, Frank and Chris who were just as excited and giggling in their seats when the movie began as I was. Switching up the format for the show once again, I gathered separate interviews with people who I knew loved Cape Crusader more or as much as me. You hear from Jay Amabile, owner of SexyArmpit.com a blog about New Jersey in pop culture. Also I chatted briefly with pro wrestler/actor Anthony Serio. Serio had the opportunity to be in the Dark Knight Rises (and, after seeing the movie, receives a nice on camera close up). He gives a little incite on working in the movie, what it takes to pursue your dreams and making them happen. Of course, I couldn't of done this podcast without the Batman himself, my father, the biggest Batman fan I know. The man who brought me into this world and introdu

Episode 10: "Regina" with Regina Santorella, Isaiah Frizzelle, Paul Wrocklage, Eric Martens
06/07/2012 Duración: 01h46minFor the first time ever Pop Cultivation goes LIVE on the internet with this very special 10th episode. Joined together with Isaiah Frizzelle, Paul Wrocklage, and (returning for the third time) Eric Martens to meet with a real life psychic. Yes, Regina Santorella might be my father's girlfriend's sister, but she has been given the gift to read people. She has never met anyone besides me, who she reads during this episode. The only information she was given prior was the guests birth date/location and what they wanted their focal point of their reading to be. Isaiah is confronted with the fact that he can not leave New Jersey yet while Paul is given the hard evidence that he might not be living to his full potential. Eric's PR skills are made obvious. While Giancarlo (me) asks for advice with love. I wanted a very special 10th episode and I got it. It all goes down in this one! Don't miss it.

Episode 9: "Aesthetics" with Bruce Bernardo
29/06/2012 Duración: 01h40minSat down with one of the most creativity people I know, my good friend Bruce. As we discussed his life in music, performance art, and basically art itself. Bruce is a awesome musician who can play about anything. He currently plays bass for the band Lloyd United. We hear about his time over seas in the group and his terrible experience in Paris. We also hear about his house that was once a church, that he made into a house! And what he's adding to it. Like I mentioned Bruce is definitely one of the most creative people I know and I can't wait to sit down with him again and do another show to hear more of his stories.
-
Episode 8: "Goals" with Ali Baker
21/06/2012 Duración: 01h12minSat down with the very beautiful Ali Baker, who isn't a stranger to podcasting as she's the original cohost to the popular Nerdist network show "The Indoor Kids". She joins me as my first female guest and we have a lot of fun; discussing topics like video games, to do lists, and goals. Thus why this episode is titled that. She also just came back from the E3 eletronics and entertainment convention. We talk about her time there and I am once again confronted with the fact that I need to move to Los Angeles. The best way to explain this show is real silly. She's a really sweet girl who will definitely be something incredible just like the personality she has. I am really glad I got to sit with her and record this. Go follow her @AliBakes, yes with an s and check out her site: AlisGotGame.com and YouTube channel: AlisGotGame. Also check out the all new WoohWaah.com if ya into that stuff!

Episode 7: "Dog Problems" with Matt Garville, Eric Martens, Dave Tanis
15/06/2012 Duración: 53minSat down and set up the podcast in my living room to record a podcast with 3 returning guests. Cedric my dog barks a lot. Tanis tells us about his job as a bus boy or as we like to say "bus bro". We touch on current events like the Ravi Dharun trial. The recent arrest of Tent City owner Steve Brigham, who was apart of Giancarlo's Pizza Hut project. How tall is Danny Devito? Is he a legal midget? I mean small person.
