The Wolfpack rose up to No. 17 in the AP Poll and appears primed to fight for a strong finish starting with Senior Day against Boston College on Saturday. After struggling mightily for nearly three quarters and falling behind 21-3 to Virginia Tech at home, NC State (6-2, 2-2 ACC) rallied to score three touchdowns in nine minutes, and secured a 22-21 win. True freshman quarterback MJ Morris came off the bench and led the way offensively, completing 20-of-29 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns. The Wolfpack's receiving corps also stepped up down the stretch in the win. Thayer Thomas tallied 10 receptions for 118 yards and two scores, while Devin Carter finished with five receptions for 62 yards, and true freshman receiver Terrell Timmons Jr. added two catches for 51 yards -- including a 43-yarder for the longest play of the night.
