On a national stage in a neutral site against an SEC opponent, No. 24 NC State suffered one of the most lopsided losses of the Dave Doeren era in a 51-10 loss to No. 14 Tennessee. The Volunteers capitalized on the Wolfpack's mistakes early to take a three-score lead into the locker room then pummeled the Pack in the second half. NC State and Tennessee are set to do battle on Saturday night in Charlotte under the lights at Bank of America Stadium in the Duke's Mayo Classic.
