Episode 56: Source Code 2 Vial Not Found
17/07/2017 Duración: 01h26minBatgirl and the Birds of Prey 12, moves the story right along with guest appearance from Selina Kyle...Catwoman. Calculator has gotten himself in too deep, and now his family are being held hostage at Terracare, a company claiming to be eco-friendly. Although they are not keen on helping out former foe the Calculator, the Birds agree that with a mother and children involved, they must lend their service to saving innocents. Catwoman stole something from the vaults of Terracare that has lead to the kidnapping. The Birds are a little hesitant about contacting Catwoman. They don't know how she might react with them telling her that she is going to have to return the jewels back to Terracare. Batgirl was right. As you can see above, Catwoman for one, didn't appreciate the ruse that Batgirl played on her, which involves the Batman, and Batgirl placing her nose in Catwoman's business. I'm totally surprised that Bruce played that game. He will answer to Selina later, I'm sure. https://youtu.be/zQLKk7puY

Episode 55: The Courtship
01/07/2017 Duración: 01h11minChuck Dixon ramps the drama up in this intense, romantic story involving Black Canary and Ra's Al Ghul. And yes, Talia is not happy about the proposition her father offers to Dinah Lance. Beautiful art by Butch Guice and Gloria Vasquez, who really capture the romance and horror of this book. Mark and I are still puzzled by the characterization of Dinah, but there are so many talking points in this book that we really enjoyed discussing this story. The emotional beats displayed in the writing and art are quite masterful. Contact us at feathersandfoes@gmail.com Twitter @feathersandfoes Websites: Feathersandfoes.com or wrightonnetwork.com

Episode 54: The Stray
22/06/2017 Duración: 58minFeathers and Foes are back with another Pre New 52 adventure of Birds of Prey. This one is called the Stray. Mike McDonnell brings some interesting art to this one. Chuck Dixon kind of has me confused with the characterization of Dinah, but I'm just going to ride with it. Kind of like what Jason Bard is doing, while trying to remain alive. Ra's Al Ghul and Talia are all in this one action packed book. And I do mean action. Don't be shy. We really would like to hear from you guys. After only one viewing for each of the hosts, many of their thoughts are still discombobulated in their heads, but the enthusiasm isn't curbed one bit. If you haven't seen the movie, please go and not support it. The film is doing you a favor, not the other way around. Watch the movie and then listen to our podcast. Episode 52: The Big Romance
08/06/2017 Duración: 55minIssue 31 of Birds of Prey is one of those stories where the main characters (Oracle and Black Canary) are peripheral, and the guest, Jason Bard, is our protagonist. You know Jason Bard, he was featured in issues 1-3 of Birds of Prey. We covered those issues about a year ago exactly. Jason was Bab's fiance. This is a cool issue. We have a dated gumshoe, France, and Barbara Gordon doing her thing where she is "mad" manipulating everyone. And a special surprise ending that will make you want to read issue 32 immediately. www.wrightonnetwork.com has more of our programming. Go there for a review of the Wonder Woman movie. Sarah of the burtinelli.tumblr.com and Ashford are going to analyze the movie.
