Episode 40: Pikjools
30/06/2012 Duración: 01h30minA long time ago in a Skype chat far far away, we recorded this episode of Connectivity. Actually, we did it this week, so I guess that's not really very long ago, but you get the point. On this episode, we're kicking off a three week series on the Pikmin franchise, with a discussion of the original Pikmin for the GameCube. Some people say it is the best. Are any of those people on this episode? You'll have to listen to find out. Following that, Neal, with some help from Patrick, interviews owner and director of Renegade Kid, Jools Watsham. They talk about basically every game Renegade Kid has released on the eShop. Spoilers: there are a lot of them. After the show proper ends, stay awhile and listen to Scott, James Dawson, and Nate talk shop about Diablo III. Please accept our apologies for the less than perfect audio on the interview segment. There's only so much post-production can fix. We love you, especially when you write to us. Please send your listener mail questions to connectivity@nintendoworldreport

Episode 37: We All Scream For E3
31/05/2012 Duración: 01h33min(The lights dim in the tightly packed theater. The crowd cheers emphatically as the Connectivity logo appears on the screen at center stage. Loud techno and dubstep tracks test the fortitude of the theater speakers while some of Connectivity's greatest moments play out on the screen. After a few minutes, the sizzle reel ends and the lights come up. The speakers crack as the announcer's voice bellows "and now, please welcome to the stage, Director of Nintendo World Report and host of Connectivity, Neal "Baby Face" Ronaghan!") Thank you, it is a pleasure to be here. It's been a great year for Connectivity, and we are excited today to talk about the future. To talk about things to come. But first, we must talk about the past, for everything has one. Even the future. I'd like to welcome to the stage Zach "Long, Latin Name for a Dinosaur" Miller and Andy "Where the Hell is Pikmin 3?" Goergen. Now, let's talk about the past. Specifically, E3 2002. (Lights dim again) (Later...) Now, the moment you've been waiting fo

Connectibites News Digest - May 16
16/05/2012 Duración: 19minNeal and Patrick sleuth it up in this latest issue of Connectibites News Digest (yes, we have a name courtesy of The Famicast's James Charlton) as they try to figure out the case of the missing Capcom 3DS and Wii U games at E3. Next, they try to get to the bottom of Pikmin 2's June release in North America, while wrestling with the demons of Xenoblade's unreported North American sales numbers. After they solve the mystery of Order Up's North American delay to eShop, they talk about Jason Rohrer's Kickstarter and posit how trite LEGO Lord of the Rings sounds. Neal brings up the Nintendo-published Wii U and 3DS title LEGO City Stories in the eleventh hour, leading to a possible E3 sequel where the boys find out where the game has been since being announced during Nintendo's press conference last year. If you have any other crimes that need solving (or any comments/critiques/questions), feel free to write in. We love to hear from you.

First thing: the ability to make characters' faces bleed. After that, Carmine and Pedro join Scott and Zach to talk about Wii U hype, or lack thereof. The guys also talk about the system that had them freaking out in the past. How stoked are you, the fair listeners, for Wii U? Let us know! That'll do it for this week. News Digest - May 8
08/05/2012 Duración: 15minThe second week of News Digest kicks off with Neal and our Euro Bro Daan Koopman talking about the Retro Studios and Star Fox Wii U rumor.
