This week we take a second look at music composed specifically for world maps in games. We are honored to have a musical guest joining us,  Amanda Lepre from the band Descendants of Erdrick! She brings her vast musical insight and love of fantasy RPG's to the conversation. We discuss how important it is for world map music to create the mood, emotionally setting up the player for a new section of the game.

To celebrate the new movie Wonder Woman, Rob and Pernell focus on games with strong female protagonists. There is lots of jazz, and argument discussion about the Final Fantasy series. We also form the first emo-jug-band, which is way cooler than it sounds.

This is a nice relaxing episode, one with nothing to worry about. There are no mistakes, only happy VGM accidents. Joining us on the show is Matt Waldron from the Youtube channel Pernell and Matt Play Games! He brings some excellent Splatoon tunes, and great stories about playing Kirby with his daughter.

We decided to change things up a bit this week and invite on of our Patreon members to join us on the show! Alex brought with him some excellent music from all sorts of games, and the Rhythm and Pixels team selected tracks that would accompany each one. We talk Rayman, Ristar, and Rob reminisces on old days working in a arcade.
