Imagine if you will....   "There's nothing that is, that was not first born in the imagination".   That quote came to me tpday while editing, and I cannot find it stated anywhere. I'm sure I am not the first person to put those combination of words together, but let them inspire you to go, and do, and be all that is in your heart.  Thank you to The Lonely Wild for allowing me to share "Buried in the Murder" with you.  Check out their great music at www.thelonelywild.com  Please feel free to send me an email at runwaypodcast@yahoo.com ,  ...and until I talk to you again, I hope you have a great day. • RUNWAY Episode 68

    16/05/2014 Duración: 40min

For the birds. This has been the most aviarial (??) week I think I've ever had. It's nice when life throws you a curve ball and you knock it out of the park. I honestly didn't think I had all that much to talk about on this episode, but I guess I did, and even managed to tack on a couple P.S.'s. There was even a title appropriate song to drop in the middle.  A very special thank you to David Lowery of Cracker for allowing me to share "Someday". I think I like David's music so much because of his ability to mate a well turned phrase with an awesome melody. Drop me an email at runwaypodcast@yahoo.com  ...and until I talk to you again, I hope you have a great day! Patrick

    28/02/2014 Duración: 55min

I always enjoy going out to Oak Mountain State Park, but I like even more the little surprises I find along the way. I had forgotten about the boat at the bottom of the waterfall, and I never expected to turn around where I did.    Great music this week from The Family Crest. The song is called Beneath the Brine.  Check out their great music at thefamilycrestfamily.com    Keep up the great work to all of you...Whether it's what you do at your place of employment, or the little things you like to work on around the house. It matters.    ...and until I talk to you again, I hope you have a great day!   Patrick

  • RUNWAY Episode 65

Snowed In.   It's late to be saying it, but it's the first chance I've had...Just want to wish you. all. a happy new year. I think it's going to be pretty great. A good part of that is just deciding how you want it to be great. There's a concept called reverse engineering. Start with an idea of what you want, then work backwards to figure out what steps you need to take to end up there.    Thank you to Diamond Rugs for permission to play "I Took Note". • RUNWAY Episode 64

    14/12/2013 Duración: 01h07min

A Beautiful Blue Christmas. So I got lost more in one run than I ever have before. That's OK. I made it back with a mile to spare. I think I would have been a little more concerned if I hadn't been carrying a GPS app. I could literally look at a map and see where I was amd which way to go. At one point, I wasn't even on a trail.  In editing this show, I realized, that a bunch of "wrong turns" and a half a dozen great songs make for a pretty great episode. Special thanks to the following: Ages and Ages: Divisionary (Do the Right Thing) Deep Sea Diver: It's Christmas Time and I'm Still Alive Dawn McCarthy and Bonnie Prince Billy: Christmas Eve Can Kill You Diamond Rugs: Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant Gary Hoey: Joy to the World The Music Tapes: The First Noel Please send email to: runwaypodcast@yahoo.com  ...and until I talk to you again... I hope you have a great day. I'll see you next year. Patrick
