A body needs fuel, too.

Mick rings 60 miles in to day 4.

Mick sets out for day 4 of his 5 day/5000 mile charity ride.

Still on pace for 1000 per day, Mick's got 3k in the bank and is ready to turn in for a few hours' rest.

Near the end of day three, and Mick may have gotten pipped by a speed camera...

Now into his day 3 run, Mick rings in to let us know what's on his mind.

A weary Mick rings in as he sets out for day 3 of his 5-day, 5000 mile charity ride around the UK.(sorry for the road noise once he gets moving)

Knackered, Mick is calling it a night as he heads back for some rest, 300 miles toward his day 3 quota already in the bag.

Over 2000miles in the book, Mick is closing in on the halfway mark.  Hitting the Red Bull, he's fighting off the aches, pains, and fatigue and pushing on for his charities.

Closing in on Glasgow (again), Mick ponders whether to head to Land's End while the weather holds.

Mick makes John O'Groats, and the end of a long, wet, cold day.

Tantalizingly close to John O'Groats, Mick is now back in the weather.  Stay tough, Mate, you're almost home for the night!

The Scala Rider headset apparently now operational, Mick checks in literally as he rolls through the 1000 mile mark.

Mick checks in with just over 100 miles to go in the first thousand.

Mick pulls in for a cuppa and a quick nap, about 1/2 way through his Day 1 mileage.

The weather continues to pummel Mick on his first day (night).  Hopefully it can only improve from here on out...
