Tonight’s guest has always been afraid of Werewolves. For as long as she can remember, the thought of actually having an encounter with one has been one of the most frightening things she could think of. Well, in 1985, that nightmare became a reality for her. You see, she didn’t encounter a Werewolf that night, but she did have an experience with something that looked just like one, a Dogman. Making matters worse, that isn’t the only Dogman encounter she’s had. She’s had more since then. Well, recently, Kim was driving home from her mother’s house when she got a flat. Unfortunately, it was a pretty remote area where her tire went flat. Tonight’s guest had his Dogman encounter under some pretty extreme circumstances. He had his encounter just after midnight, in September 2018, during a hurricane. Making matters worse, the Dogman he encountered came after him. When I spoke with him, about his encounter, I could tell that he was shaken by the elements of his encounter that normally rattle almost all eyewitnesses. What truly traumatized him, though, in my opinion, was the fact that the Dogman didn’t stand and watch him run as fast as he could, in an attempt to get away from it. As he was running away from it, as hard and fast as he could, he could hear that it was coming after him! Tonight’s guest has had two Dogman encounters. His first encounter happened when he was very young, and his second encounter occurred about 9 years ago. Due to him being an adult when his second encounter occurred, and the fact it happened so recently, the details from his most recent encounter are much clearer, in his mind. That encounter occurred while he was cabin-sitting, for his mother. You see, his mother and stepfather had gone out of town and his mother asked him if he’d be willing to stay at their cabin, while they were gone, to keep an eye on it for them. He had done that for her before and was happy to oblige. So, as promised, he, his girlfriend, and their small dog, Rascal, went to stay at the cabin, for a few days. In the past, when the 3 of them had stayed there, it had been a relaxing time for them. This time, however, would be different. Tonight’s guests are brothers who wish to keep their identities hidden, so they went by the names “Carl” and “Billy” on tonight’s show. When Carl and Billy were kids, they loved nothing more than spending time in the woods. In fact, when they used to go to their grandparent’s home, they’d spend the whole day roaming around their grandparent’s property, seeing what they could get into. You see, their grandparent’s property was like a private playground for them. They loved spending time there. One evening, however, when they were kids, the property lost its allure. That evening, around dusk, their mother had sent them out, to let their father know that dinner was ready. Their father was working on a car, on the back part of the property, with Carl and Billy’s grandfather, at the time. So, “Carl” and “Billy” started walking back to where their father was, to let him know that dinner was ready. In the North Burnett Region of Queensland, Australia, there’s a water hole that has an ominous reputation. Locals call it the “Bunyip Hole.” During daylight hours, it’s not unusual to find people there, in and around the water hole. When dusk approaches, however, everyone leaves. When cattle drovers have tried to drive cattle to the water hole, so they could drink, the cattle would refuse to go anywhere near it, no matter how hard they were driven. The cattle would spilt up and go around either side of the water hole, keeping distance between it and themselves. It seems strange that cattle would be so afraid of a water hole and even stranger that locals would refuse to go anywhere near it, when it’s dark or close to dark. There’s a reason for the fear locals and the cattle have of the hole, though. The fear the locals have stems from a monster that’s said to come out, at night, around the water hole. Tonight’s guest, Cam, has always loved Werewolves. Growing up, he loved watching any movie he could find that had a Werewolf in it. It’s all make-believe, so there’s nothing real about it, right? Fast forward to present day. Cam is now a 31 year old man who now knows that, sometimes, the line between make-believe and reality can get pretty blurry. That’s because of a horrific experience he had, late one night, last December. You see, that was the night when his heroic, 136 pound, American Bulldog (named Dallas) saved his life. If Dallas wouldn’t have been with Cam that night, there’s a strong possibility Cam wouldn’t have survived the Dogman attacked he experienced that night. While it’s true that Cam survived the experience, Dallas paid the ultimate price for protecting his daddy, unfortunately. Tonight’s guest, Pat, was driving down a country road, in 2012, at 10:30 PM, when the unthinkable happened. He was driving about 60 miles per hour, and he had his wife sitting next to him. He had driven down that road, in Ingham County, Michigan, numerous times before, at night, so he had no reason to think this night would be any different. Vancouver Island is 283 miles long and is located in the northeastern section of the Pacific Ocean. It is the world’s 43rd-largest island, by area, and is a Canadian province of British Columbia. When most people think about Vancouver Island, they think about the picturesque landscapes and the thick forests that are widespread on the island. The island has a secret, though. It’s a secret that tonight’s guest came face to face with, in the winter of 2006, while she was walking home, one night. She’s had encounters with almost all of the animals that are known to live on the island, but what she encountered that night was something she hopes to never see again. She saw, with her own eyes, that Dogmen DO live on Vancouver Island. On a stormy night, when tonight’s guest was 17, she had her first Dogman encounter. The encounter she had was very traumatic, but not nearly as traumatic as the last encounter she had was. You see, when she had her last encounter, she and her boyfriend were huddled in his bathroom, listening to the huge Dogman she had already had several encounters with ripping its way through the back wall of his house, trying to get to them. Since I aired the first episode of Dogman Encounters, I’ve had several special guests on the show. Some have been more popular than others, for various reasons. Tonight’s guest, however, ranks at the top of the list for guests who have come on the show, to share third-party eyewitness encounters. There’s just something about the emotion he puts into sharing them that listeners love. Of course, I’m talking about Marvin Allen. Marvin has been on a bit of hiatus; and while he was gone, I’ve received multiple inquiries regarding his whereabouts. Tonight's guest, Christina, was at her parent’s house, in rural North Carolina, when she had her encounter. She isn’t the only family member who has seen a Dogman there, however. Her dad had a sighting of his own too. One of the ironic things about her encounter is the fact that some of her friends had warned her to stay wary, as long as she was in the area.
