Sean is over in Germany for Oktoberfest, so Nick from Nerd901 is here to co-host with Kevin. He runs through what it’s like to have Breath of the Wild be your first Zelda experience, thoughts on Uncharted The Lost Legacy, and his initial impressions of MVC Infinite, before Kevin gushes over the first 2D Metroid we've gotten in over 13 years! At TGS 2017, Square Enix revealed a game that involves Yoji Shinkawa that may fill a void left by Metal Gear. Sean's best friends Brent, and Jayson were in town to visit Sean and see all that Memphis has to offer. They also jumped on the show to talk Star Wars, Bruce Straley leaving Naughty Dog, the NES Classic coming back, and all the news from the Nintendo Direct. Then to finish up the week, Sean, Jayson, and Brent reminisce over some of their favorite video game memories from their nearly 30 years of friendship.

Taking a break from really playing any games this week gave Kevin a chance to get started on Jason Schreier's Blood, Sweat, and Pixels. Spoiler alert - it's awesome. Rockstar surprised everyone by announcing a re-release of LA Noire is coming to the Switch in addition to the PS4 and XBone. What does this mean for future third party support on the Switch? The guys have been waiting for Sonic Mania for over a year (actually probably more like 23 years), and they are so pumped to review it for everyone. Before that they get into Sean's prep for Oktoberfest, their thoughts on the Obi-Wan standalone movie, and everything that went down at SummerSlam. Crackdown 3 has been delayed AGAIN, meaning the signature launch title for the XBoneX is now gone. What does this mean for Crackdown, but also for the future of XBox? The guys also get into Amazon's pricing changes, Kojima's kind words toward Konami, some MGS movie news, and the July NPD results.

Once they recover, they move outside the confines of the Poolhouse Recording Studio to tackle Hellblade's "Permadeath" controversy, and discuss the concept of Game Over has changed over the years. Valve announced a new game!!! (Unfortunately they still can't count to 3) Also, No Man's Sky got a sizeable update a year too late, details on the next PS4 firmware have leaked, and Sonic Mania on the PC Master Race got a two week delay.

The guys kick off Episode 85 by extolling the virtues of an ice cold Corona during the summer heat, before getting into Sean's projector and man cave frustrations, and thoughts on I Am Setsuna. Since it's ANOTHER slow news week, the guys decided to tackle Would You Rather - Video Games Edition before jumping into the news of the week and the Back of the Box Challenge.

All of Hollywood was worked up into a tizzy over Henry Cavill's mustache, and what it means for Justice League. The guys just think its funny to talk about mustaches. Also, Kevin finally went back to The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and is digging it; while Sean is continuing his journey through Final Fantasy XII. The Nintendo Switch continue to be a runaway hit, while Walmart is the exact opposite of that with how they handled SNES Classic preorders... Metal Gear Solid V got it's first update in a year, SIMs 4 is coming to consoles, and the PS Plus and Games w/ Gold August games were announced.

The guys kick off Episode 83 by reminiscing about Linkin Park in the wake of Chester Bennington's suicide. Sean also attended a New Found Glory concert, and realized he isn't as young as he thinks he is. They then get into the rumors of Affleck no longer being Batman, and their review of the newest Justice League trailer. Sean has gotten deeper into Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age and runs through his thoughts on how it compares to the original, while Kevin revisited a game from their childhood. Then it's onto the news of the week including the Atari Box, Telltale announcements, a potential N64 classic edition, and the NPD results for June.

After a week away, the guys are back and better than ever! The format this week is different than normal, but they run the gamut of having babies, to crappy Oklahoma City casinos, as well as Spider-Man: Homecoming, Castlevania, Oceanhorn, Final Fantasy XII, and much much more.

Kevin finally beat Axiom Verge, and Sean did the same with Horizon Zero Dawn. In addition to that, Sean gives his first impressions related to the Breath of the Wild DLC. They also have hot takes on ketogenic diets and aspartame. The E3 news fog continues, so the guys dig in to the E3 critics awards, Nintendo not wanting to remake any old Mario games, the fastest Platinum game getting pulled from the PSN, as well as all the gaming deals currently available for the taking.

It was a slow week in gaming news coming off of E3, so the guys kick off Episode 80 in the only ways they know how - with lawnmower accidents, exploding grills, Nickelodeon shows, Garfield's ability to talk, and the newly titled Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. They do also talk Horizon and Axiom Verge btw. Activision finally announced that Modern Warfare Remastered is getting a stand-alone release, but is the price too much? Also, Uncharted is going to live on, Sega Forever was announced, and the PS4 climbs back to the top of hardware sales.

After a busy E3 week, the guys return to their normally scheduled programming. To kick off Episode 79, they talk through initial thoughts on Life is Strange, and raging at a certain game mechanic in Axiom Verge... Nintendo did a whole lot more than just show Super Mario Odyssey at E3, and the guys dive in to all the big announcements. Plus more details on Spider-Man PS4, God of War, Metal Gear Survive (sigh...), and IO Interactive is keeping the rights to Hitman!

The main event of E3 2017 has finally arrived! The guys recap and analyze everything that went down on Sony's stage, as well as Ubisoft's surprisingly strong showing, and Bethesda's conference from late Sunday night.

The guys kick of their E3 coverage with a recap of everything that happened during the weekend with EA and XBox. Scorpio has a name and a price, every XBox game is apparently some kind of exclusive, and EA unveiled Project Dylan as Anthem.

The guys are back to "normal" after the epic Episode 75 stream. It's time to run through Sean's review of Blaster Master Zero, and Kevin's thoughts on the Nex Machina Beta. They also get into the shocking news that Nintendo is going the way of Netflix with their online service, and the disappointing news that makes the FF7 Remake seem like nothing more than a pipe dream.
