Last week was a big one for two of the most anticipated games in recent years in Tears of the Kingdom, and Final Fantasy XVI. The long wait for PSVR 2 is finally over, and the guys both got their hands on it. As has become customary with Nintendo, they announced a direct for the following day, and blessed us with a Direct that had something for everyone.  From Pikmin 4's release date, to Metroid Prime Remastered finally becoming a reality, and a new trailer for Tears of the Kingdom, this was a jam packed 40 minutes. E3 is returning this summer, but an IGN report last week has tampered expectations to say the least. According to the report, the big 3 of Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will not be attending. The first big release of 2023 (sorry, Forspoken) has arrived in Dead Space. The game is already a critical success, with a somewhat surprising Metacritic score of 89, and many are saying it is a shining example of how remakes should be tackled. Metal Gear Solid remake rumors have been flying around over the past few years with nothing to show, so far. Over the years, CES has lessened a great deal in importance when it comes to video games. This past week, however, Sony had a few big announcements at the show. PSVR2 is just a bit more than a month away, and the guys continue to be hyped for it's release. At CES, it was announced that Gran Turismo 7 is getting a free PSVR2 upgrade, prompting Kevin to take the leap and buy the game. Sony also revealed their first accessibility controller in Project Leonardo, something that is long overdue.
