Brunch With The Brits

So this week we conclude The Biig Business Lark and we learn about Worlds Beyond from Heather Cooper as it's Easter weekend I've decided to begin The Chronicles Of Narnia and we're going with the Brian Sibbly edition with Morris Denham yes Rumpole himself as the storyteller.  We actually start with episode 1 of The Magician's Nephew.  Enjoy and a blessed Easter and Passover to you my awesome listeners.

This week our featured play is The Falklands Play from 1986.  It's remarkable that it was censored by BBC at that time.  It has an all star cast of people we've seen many times before including Clive Marison and the lady who play Margaret Thatcher is amazing.  We also have two episodes of The Big Business Lark and we learn about the origins of planets so please settle in for almost three hours as only your friends at brunch can come up with.

This week we conclude Barcester Towers, which means we're putting away the Chronicles for a bit.  I thought it was a good stopping point as we prepare for some Easter brunch in a couple weeks.  We also have two episodes from The Big Business Lark and we learn about the life and death of stars.  

This week it's two episodes of Big Business followed by a look at the sun and we continue with Barcester Towers.  Enjoy.

This week a pau perrie of stuff as we present true paper.  For to get to a gift, you have to unwrap it.  After our Navy Lark episode in which Leslie is held over a weather ship in a bosun's chair, we'll learn about the planet George, continue our adventure with The Electric Time Trousers in which we meet Sir francis Drake nd then we get in to our Christmas paper.  We start with a short Rumpole story called Rumpole and the Spirt of Christmas.  Then we hear about Christmas Decorations and finish up with After Super Ghost Stories.  Bout of those have been heard before but I felt were highly apropriate.  Email the show at brunchwiththebrits@gmail.com and nexgt week we look at the box.

This week we cover a lot.  We start with two Navy Lark episodes and they won't dissapoint.  The first asks what sub lt Philips is doing selling sweets from a Portsmouth tabaconist aboard Troutbridge and stealing the chief's customers.  The second deals with what happens when a supposed land mine is found in Portsmouth Harbour.  Then we get to the meat of the episode.  Our cosmic quest deals with gGalileo and is titled Seeing Is Believing.  Because of that I thought it'd be fun to look at Galileo by Berthold Brecht.  So we'll listen to The Life Of Galileo.  Enjoy.  Three hours and thirty minutes.  Hey it's a good oone.  On behalf of Maria and myself please have a happy Thanksgiving and if you're in a part of the world where turkeys lives are pardoned then hhave some covid snacks.  Email us at brunchwiththebrits@gmail.com aand most of all enjoy the pod.
