Hi! While we’ve been on hiatus, Mae decided to go back to her older Maed in India episodes, particularly the ones where bands have either disbanded, or are on an indefinite hiatus. It got her thinking – “Where Did They Go?” And so, to ease back in from our hiatus, we’re showcasing Maed in India episodes from way back when that featured bands that are basically nonexistent. A cryptic email in the Maed in India inbox has now manifested itself into a Maed in India studio session. The guest for this week’s episode of Maed in India, Joshua Fernandez, has already been on the show before - on our 38th episode from 2016, as the frontman of Chennai alt/indie rock band The F16s. Indian folk fusion band Yugm joins Mae all the way from The Pink City of Jaipur. It’s March, and we know what that means on Maed in India. It’s time for the Ladies Special!
